What is it?

BEMER is a FDA approved class II cleared medical device that is noninvasive, safe, and easy to use. It deploys pulsed electromagnetic field technology to target microcirculation throughout the body. A unique signal flows safely through the body allowing for better distribution of oxygen and nutrients, while eliminating wastes from cells.

How does it work?

BEMER inductively stimulates charged molecules within the body, but does not transfer electrons (electricity). The signal leads to scientifically grounded stimulation of the smallest vessels (microcirculation) supporting the circulatory system as a whole.

It thereby supports the body’s natural self-regulating processes. Blood is the body’s universal means of transportation. Oxygen, nutrients, chemical messengers (e.g., hormones) and immune cells are all transported through our blood. When our body’s cells, tissues and organs are adequately nourished and metabolic waste products are removed, our bodies maintain a healthy balance and function properly. The optimal regulation of circulation is a prerequisite for ensuring good levels of health and fitness.

Contraindications?

Do NOT use if you have a diagnosed DVT or if you receive immunosupressive therapy in consequence of translplant; allogenic cellular transplant; or bone marrow or stem cell transplant.

What about use with medical implants?

Because of the low intensity of the magnetic field used to transmit the Bemer signal, the Bemer can be used with all metal implants (e.g. surgical screws, discs, suture clips, etc.). However, magnetic, electromagnetic, or electrical implanted devices (Defibrillators, Pacemakers, Deep Brain Stimulators, Pain Pumps, Insulin Pumps, etc.) should be cleared for use by the medical device manufacturer of the implanted devices before BEMER is applied.

How is it applied at the office?

An area/chair will specifically be designated for BEMER use (completely separate from massage treatments). With instruction you will place the B. Pad (long flexible pad) and B. Spot (circular disk) on areas you would like to target.

Optimal use?

Results have been shown to be the best when individuals use the product while at rest, up to twice a day. Whether laying down or sitting, engage in active breathing (slow, smooth, deep, even breaths) during the 8 minute application.

What does it feel like?

Perception of the application differs from user to user. Some users experience a light feeling of warmth, cool, or a tingling sensation. Most feel noticeably relaxed and invigorated after the application. While some have no awareness of the application.

Application results?

BEMER Therapy is recommended as a long-term application. The positive effects of BEMER Therapy may last for an extended period of time. However, the results vary based on the individual user and depends fundamentally on the individual lifestyle and state of health of the user. The average user can expect a single application to last 8-12 hours.
